We attended the largest earth-building conference in France, where we introduced attendees to the #Cardano blockchain.

Earth Modular Interlocking Blocks offer a promising alternative in the civil construction industry. Despite the abundance of online how-to videos for this building technique, many present incorrect approaches that can lead to complications. These issues often arise due to a lack of knowledge, despite the good intentions of builders and manufacturers. Therefore, access to accurate information that can contribute to sector development and provide proper guidance on the care and execution of construction with modular interlocking blocks is crucial.

In this study, we also explore the Cardano blockchain to implement our certification system, an international, permissionless, and decentralized network. This system ensures credibility and will help us promote global recognition of earthen building practices. Thus, the aim of this study is to elaborate on a Best Practices Manual for Building with Compressed Stabilized Earth Modular Blocks and implement a Blockchain-based Certification system. #claynation

♻ Last week, I had the privilege of visiting the engineering laboratory at Murdoch University, guided by Dr. Martin Anda, Associate Professor of Environmental Engineering.

I represented @EcotermModular, focusing on environmentally friendly construction materials.

Our discussions centred around potential collaborations in sustainable technologies, particularly with Dr. Martin Anda research. He focuses on developing low-carbon #geopolymers from waste-derived materials, offering an alternative to high-carbon Portland cement concretes.

At Ecoterm, we have a strong approach to crafting ecological bricks, breeze blocks, and 3D tiles from earth and/or recycled materials, aimed at eliminating the need for firing associated with traditional clay blocks.

The alignment of our work with Dr. Martin's and his team research presents exciting opportunities for potential partnership here in Australia. We are enthusiastic about exploring collaborations that promote sustainability in the construction sector.
