C1 2012 Geological Geometry (miners trapped in a mineshaft one) modelled with colour in SolidWorks and presented in #AugmentedReality using a merge cube.

Used it with 6th yrs for revision today, they had great craic and found it very helpful.

First lesson of Developments with 2nd years. Never mentioned the topic just asked students to:
1. Measure then draw a Plan and Elevation of their own phone.
2. Put it in a box made out of one piece of gold leaf (i.e. use a little as possible!)

Some great efforts from the class today. We applied what we learned about Gradients (for shading and rendering) to a sunset. We're going to apply the same technique for making curved 3D shapes look more realistic next #freehandsketching

Has anyone used Image Mate 4 to record videos from the Elmo L-12 visualiser?

Despite having connected it to my computer with a mini-usb cable it will not recognise the visualer in Image Mate and keeps asking me to connect.
