7 October. We will not forget.

Three years ago, Hamas terrorists attacked southern Israel, killing 1,200 people, wounding thousands more, and taking 251 hostages, many of whom did not return alive.

Today, we honour the victims and stand with the survivors and the families still carrying the scars of those attacks.

7 October reminds us how far terrorism and antisemitic hatred can go. Defending freedom, security and peace remains a responsibility we all share.

🇬🇧 Bringing European, British and Australian perspectives together in Birmingham.

At the Conservative Party Conference, Italian MP and ECR Party @Giordano__Ant, former UK Cabinet minister Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg (@Jacob_Rees_Mogg ), Shadow Minister for Women and Equalities Joy Morrissey MP (@joymorrissey), and Caroline Inge, Federal Vice-President of the Liberal Party of Australia, exchanged views on the challenges facing conservative politics.

The discussion offered an opportunity to compare experiences across countries and strengthen dialogue between European, British and Australian conservatives.

🇧🇷 A major result for Brazil’s conservative movement.

With 47.03% of the vote, Flávio Bolsonaro finishes ahead in the first round of Brazil’s presidential election and advances to the runoff on 25 October.

The result confirms the strength of a political alternative built around freedom, national sovereignty, family and economic development.

Brazil now enters a decisive second round, with two very different visions of the country’s future facing each other.

🇵🇱 @AdamBielan, Member of the European Parliament and Head of the Polish Delegation in the ECR Group, has been elected by the Board of Directors as President of the European Conservatives and Reformists Party (ECR Party).

A long-standing member of the European conservative movement, he takes the helm of the ECR Party at a time of significant political change across Europe. His presidency will focus on strengthening cooperation among conservative parties, expanding the ECR political family, and advancing a political alternative based on national sovereignty, security, economic competitiveness and respect for Europe’s identity.
