SR 31 Huntington Canyon reopened this morning. Use extreme caution if travelling. Law enforcement actively patrolling to keep motorists moving through the fire area. Expect a lot of firefighters and equipment along the roadway. Avoid Huntington Canyon if possible.

Nearly 600,000 gallons of water have been dropped on the #TrailMountainFire by helicopters since Tuesday, June 12. To prevent the spread of invasive species from cross-contamination, buckets and equipment are sanitized before switching water sources.

Dense smoke is the primary concern in Huntington Canyon right now. Fire activity has increased significantly in upper Mill Fork. The #TrailMountainFire has not crossed SR31. The road will reopen once conditions clear. Stay tuned for more updates.
