#Labour appears full of disgruntled, ambitious chancers. Nothing can be worse than ‘a woman scorned.’ @louisehaigh vindictively ousted her PM, watch your back @andyburnham https://t.co/t8zKCoKsVJ
America was great, it cannot fall to the corrupt & greedy. The country has everything required for wonderful lives - don’t lose it to dictators. https://t.co/hEO5IDws0W
@andyburnham very nice of you, but why tell the world? If this was done because of altruism you did not need to broadcast it.
How nice to earn enough to afford this act. https://t.co/F6UF34hyoZ
🚨 BREAKING:
The United Nations has officially declared Gaza a genocide zone, stating that Israel is deliberately targeting children and infants.
It took them three full years to reach this conclusion.
ExposeTrophyHunters Mike Deasey hunted this elephant in Namibia. He exclaimed that, 'Hunting this magnificent creature was tremendous.' Yeah, he was magnificent, now he is just dead, Mike. #BanTrophyHunting
UN rights chief calls for investigations into US deaths in immigration custody - https://t.co/oPHu6ZuVVj. There is no shame, compassion or legality in the so called #Trump administration
It can take many leaders years to grow into the statesman you became in just two years.
European and Ukrainian security is stronger because of you.
Thank you, dear Keir.
This says it all @Keir_Starmer@AndyBurnhamGM Our country is about to become a laughing stock & if Mr Burnham steps into the PM’s role we are doomed to fail unless he #rejoineu
We had a chance to vote in a General Election less than two years ago. We voted Labour into power by a landslide (however loveless and however low the share of the vote). For Andy Burnham, who wasn’t even on the ticket as a parliamentary candidate in 2024, to be imposed on the country as our Prime Minister by Labour Parry members and affiliates (if there’s even a contest) feels - though within the rules - a little undemocratic. The British public, whatever they may think of Keir Starmer, would be relegated to being by-standers to their own future.
Yesterday my brother teacher @EnochBurke was taken from prison to a disciplinary inquiry by the Irish Teaching Council. He is facing the possible removal of his licence to teach. His crime: refusing to accept that you can be suspended for not endorsing LGBTQ+ ideology. The inquiry is required to be held in public, but throughout the day more than ten heavy-set security guards dressed in black guarded every entrance to the building and demanded the names of anyone attempting to attend. This was naked intimidation. Very few people would feel comfortable attending in such circumstances. The same guards worked hard to protect the Teaching Council panel from scrutiny when they exited the building, including the chairman Andy Pike. Pike has shared mockery of Enoch Burke’s stand on his social media and is himself a promoter of transgender ideology. Enoch has now spent almost two years in prison, meanwhile every form of perversion is taught to children in schools every day. This is a dark day for Ireland.
Me too… don’t allow it to happen @Keir_Starmer I know a contest would take an even greater personal toll but I voted for Labour under your leadership and an untested Coronation will fail this Country.. I want to know what Andy Burnham means by “ better” because so far it lacks a great deal of substance.
Those I speak with want @keirstarmer to stay. He has made mistakes tax on national insurance & private schools. But he is making headway on channel crossings & ………. we don’t take any notice of the boring stuff. @AndyBurnhamGM an unknown egotist & professional politician NO
So let me get this straight:
- Inflation lower than predicted
- unemployment falling
- small boat crossings falling
- NHS Waiting lists falling
- Interest rates stable
- Asylum hotel use falling
- net migration down 82%
- school attendance up
And Keir’s doing a really bad job?
Congratulations to Andy Burnham
The PM says he wants him to have a big role in govt
Despite hype, no-one has challenged for the leadership
To do so would cause the country chaos, so I’m glad @Keir_Starmer has said he’ll run in any contest
I back him 💯- he’s delivering for 🇬🇧
Exclusive: Andy Burnham is being urged by business leaders to rejoin the European Union as new economic modelling reveals it could add at least £92bn to the economy and boost growth by at least 3.6 per cent - helping to fund the changes he is promising.
The study, commissioned by campaign group Best for Britain and carried out by Frontier Economics, a consultancy chaired by Dame Sharon White, the former chair of John Lewis, models the key benefits of EU membership and finds the prize dwarfs every other option on the table.
The report suggests that the UK would recover up to 90 per cent of Brexit’s economic hit to UK GDP - which the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) has calculated at minus 4 per cent by 2030 - far eclipsing value of a customs union or all post-Brexit trade deals combined.
Crucially for a would-be Prime Minister who built his name as the champion of the North, the gains would be felt most strongly - outside London - in Britain’s former industrial and manufacturing heartlands in the East and West Midlands, Yorkshire and the North - due to an “outsized” boost to trade in goods.

This is @labour renegading on their election win, following in @conservative footsteps. We have a good PM this new man is an egotist and a professional politician, we do not need him. We look weak & pre Maloni like a sclerotic Italy. https://t.co/yTu5jTVqfp
@bbclaurak@Keir_Starmer should stay. He has achieved & will improve. Who is @AndyBurnhamGM we did not vote for him, unknown on the Global Stage & only known in Manchester, professional politicians & egos are our nemesis. Election now, all are struggling, conservatives back.
Disgusting greed of the US and FIFA crushed my son’s dreams
He was saving for two years to see Germany play in a World Cup
Yesterday we flew to Houston to purchase tickets for the first match
“That will be $2,400 plus tip” we heard in a ticket booth
“Tip?” I was sure this is a joke
“Yes, mandatory 25% tip is not included”
I froze from shock
“Total of $3,000. Cash or card?”
My son looked at me with crying eyes
“We cannot afford it, Heinrich” I said
“But papa, we came such a long way” he was sobbing
I hugged him, feeling my heart is breaking
“This would never happened in the EU” he whispered
“No son, it would not” I said while wiping tears off my eyes
America must never be allowed to interfere with European sports again
