On this day in 2014, Canada defeats Sweden 6-3 to become the first women's curling team to go through the Olympics undefeated. The Jennifer Jones Rink out of the St. Vital Curling Club was the first Manitoba-based rink to win Olympic gold.
When Homan was 1-3 there were a lot of people doubting her and this team.
They blocked out the noise and found a way to win five-straight.
This has not been an easy path. But they persevered. And have found their way into the semifinals at the Olympics.
What lights your flame — and how do you keep it burning?
This Women in Curling webinar invites women from across the curling community to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the values that drive their energy, decisions, and commitments.
Led by Erin Brennan, a mental performance consultant working with elite athletes, the session focuses on transferable tools you can apply to curling, work, leadership, and daily life — no matter your role in the game.
