@heymrsbond The Reby Cary Children’s library here in Fort Worth has a play space. It is great when the weather is uncooperative… and you can get books or use the maker space or participate in the library programming.
Another good reading year. I finished the Rivers of London series and the Iron Druid series. The World We Make by N. K. Jemisin was probably my favorite book of the year.

I am thankful for grocery delivery. I used to think this was a silly extravagance (and I fully acknowledge this is a privilege). But in fighting cancer, it is such a relief to be able to conserve energy and not be exposed to all the germs. #Thankful#Cancer

@heymrsbond We cannot “growth mindset” our way out of every problem. We need healthcare and systems that protect the health of teachers and students…not more blame.
I’m immune compromised from chemo and taking all the precautions I can, but it’s just me against the world.
Chemo week 6: This is the halfway point for this first type of chemo. 6 down and 6 to go. Fatigue has been more intense this week. Good thing my job is light and easy ����
@HeatherL114 To be even remotely effective, this doesn’t seem like the kind of thing to mandate. The teacher has to be onboard with this as a concept and tool.
