The tool helps program design to improve learning outcomes & skills development for all children by naming outcomes, describing how change happens, curating best available evidence, making the link b/w ed sector tech expertise, conflict sensitivity, & contextual understanding.
Need a systems approach to #resilience, which means we don’t just consider learner resilience but also consider the resilience of the whole #education system - schools, community and institutions.
Joint planning and increased coordination between sectors may mean looking for new, non-traditional partners to build #resilience in countries and communities. Also, finding ways to better monitor and evaluate multi-sectoral collaboration should be a focus. @USAIDEducation
Education & Resilience Panel: #Resilience is being elevated w/in USAID’s transformation & redesign. The reasons for this are the costs – costs to people’s lives, economic costs, and costs to USG in providing humanitarian assistance because of draught, famine, etc. @USAIDEducation
