I think people just don’t say the whole thing in your mentions. Yes, he was an awesome player for us and I’m thankful for his time here. Loved him. But that doesn’t change that I’m glad he’s gone because he 100% quit on this team ON THE FIELD. I hope you’re not denying that blatantly obvious fact. Not to mention the stress he caused the locker room with his absolutely unprofessional behavior. So people can be pissed and glad he’s gone and point out the way he handled himself.
Loved this moment. Old school coaching coming from a place of genuine care, a kid that doesn’t want to let him, his team, or himself down. Love the emotion. I’m a 76ers fan (ugh, I know) who is loving watching this team. Wemby is awesome, but his leadership has impressed me most. I’m rooting for this coach and these players. I hope they advance and I can watch them sweep the freakin Knicks!!!
I was once playing music at the green parrot in Newtown, PA. I was at the urinal in between sets and a voice next to me said “hey, great set man”.
I looked and it was @RAJr_20. Haha.
I wanted to be complementary or ask him for an autograph, but I figured in that moment it was probably just best to say “thank you”. 🤣 I’ve always wanted to tell him that story, so I guess I just did. lol. It’s been probably about 17 or 18 years.
@CaptainBUM4133@SportsRadioWIP There’s a ton of grace in sports. Be as competitive and hard nosed and walk your walk on the court all you want. Be down right nasty if you want. But afterwards, in a press conference, when the series is over, there is grace involved. Unless you’re classless.
Philly fan here. This is soft af. I hate the Knicks and hope they lose next round, but they are by far the better team. Our GM blows, we have no bench, and Embiid is made of glass. They were never going to be in this series. Fire everyone and build around our guards. 32 FTs…10 of them were because they were hacking Robinson. Stfu
