Sure hope the taxpayers aren’t footing this bill. And why is there all this debt. Jim Himes and Chris Murphy voted for Obama care and said that was going to solve the problem, so why is there any debt?
Gov. Lamont says he wants to lower utility bills. Well, he has a choice on his desk at this very moment. H.B. 5340, which passed the legislature in May on a party line vote, would objectively increase Public Benefits charges in our electricity bills by billions over the coming decades.
It would do so by subsidizing profits of for profit Energy production companies on the backs of working class Connecticut families.
If Gov. Lamont wants to avoid violating another promise to voters, he must veto this H.B. 5340 before it automatically becomes law in just under two weeks and change course.
Additionally we need candidates in the following Senate districts:
1, 5, 10, 11, 13, 23, 27
If you or someone you know is willing to step up in a big way or small to run, please reach out via DM, email (info[AT]ryanfazio[DOT]com), or to your local RTC. We need to challenge in every district and we need to give voters a choice everywhere.
While I am newly the Republican nominee, I will do whatever I can to build our party to fight everywhere and give voters a choice.
Winning does not look like winning one race or election. It looks like winning the most votes we can everywhere over the long term. Winning sometimes means bringing up the rest of the ticket. The worst thing is not losing a single race—it’s giving up. We must never give up.
This building is technically illegal in Greenwich. However, because of state laws voted in by Democrats this building is going up and going to increase congestion in this area. If you don’t like it then don’t vote for any Democrats. It is the Democrats that are doing this to you.
The development would not meet the town's zoning regulations, but it was able to bypass those regulations due to the affordable-housing incentives. https://t.co/c7NqK6cyeO
No district should go unopposed.
Voters deserve a choice. EVERY voter deserves a choice.
Losing an election is never the worst outcome. Giving up is.
If you or anyone you know is interested in stepping up, please do so. Reach out to your local RTC or even my team at info[at]ryanfazio[dot]com if you need to learn more.
Delivering a positive change in Connecticut is a team effort and we need a movement to do it.
This massive project is due to Democrats. They’ve passed state laws stripping local zoning of authority to stop buildings like this as long as they have a certain “affordable” portion. Dems will make this law even more aggressive. If you don’t like it, stop voting Democrat.
The massive taxes collected in Greenwich mean residents pay the highest per capita property tax of any CT town. Forget the mill rate; it’s the property tax amount that matters. Democrats control the BET now and are spending & spending—no restraint. Next Dems want long term debt
Our Tax Collector @heatherSmeriglio to start collecting $500 million dollars for the new fiscal year. Want a say in how it’s spent? Don’t forget to vote every November!
Ned is wrong again! All the ballot fraud that we have seen in CT (and it’s been a lot) has been by Democrats with absentee ballots. Now Ned is letting that go on steroids. Note to the governor everyone needs to know that their vote counts fairly.
Voting rights are under assault by the federal government. Not in Connecticut. Everyone deserves access to the ballot, whether or not you can leave work early or find a ride. Today, I will be signing legislation expanding absentee ballot access to every eligible voter. 🗳️
I was glad to join Dennis House yesterday to discuss our growing campaign to create affordability, opportunity, and hope again in our beautiful state.

Congratulations to Ryan Fazio, our Republican nominee for Governor of Connecticut.
Connecticut families deserve a government that listens, leads, and delivers.
We are united as a Party and ready for the fight ahead. Onward to November.
I am honored to receive the unanimous nomination of the @ctgop to be your next governor.
Now we begin the work of earning the trust of every resident across our state. Together, we will create a positive change for all of Connecticut.
🚨BREAKING Senator @ryanfazio has reached the 50% threshold for votes at GOP Convention. Fazio will be the Republican nominee for governor facing incumbent Ned Lamont
