I made peace with impermanence, with the inevitability of change. Life, for me, has been a collection of moments—to gather as many good ones as I can. I don't know what that makes me: broken, coward, nonchalant, selfish. But I know this much. I'll always be true to the moment.
It's easy to succumb to the notion, that only lasting things were ever truly real. Yet even we, in these bodies, have to go at some point: does it mean we never existed? That our joys and sorrows after our demise were any less compelling than the living?
I don't want to center permanence in my relationship with people, or with the world around me. Especially, when the only thing that permanence guarantees me is impermanence. If I were immortal, I might cling to these fleeting waves more.
But I'll die. I might as well live. Even if just a little. And it will bruise some people, and I'll get bruised. I think that's what they call living.
That's what they call living: the laughs between the bruises. The bruises too.
Cortisol is high from hating your life, sitting indoors all day, believing you’re too old & too late, not eating fiber, gossiping, caffeine maxxing, no sleep, boozing the weekend away, watching porn then resenting your partner, keeping up with current tragedies, doomscrolling

Do you ever get exhausted by food? Not the food itself, just the endless cycle of deciding what to eat, shopping for it, cooking it, and having to do it all over again every single freaking day.

bro to bro: if you like skinnier girls, get yourself a skinny girl. if you like thicker girls, get yourself a thick girl. if you like fitness girls, get yourself a fit girl. you are entitled to your own preferences.
but what you are not going to do bro, is date a girl who is not your type and make her feel inferior to other girls.
This is one post that will break every parent’s heart. 💔
Imagine losing your child… and not even knowing when or how it happened.
15-year-old Ian Gichagua Maingi, a Form 2 student at Njumbi High School, is missing.
A bright, disciplined, and cheerful boy — full of dreams and potential.
Nothing seemed unusual until 17th October, when Ian’s mother, Jennifer Muthoni, received a text from the school saying students would be released for the long December holidays. She was happy her son had completed the term well. The school even praised his performance in another message.
But when the students were released the next morning, Ian never came home.
Earlier in September, Mama Ian had visited the school after hearing that students with school fees balances would be sent home. She pleaded with the administration to allow her son to stay as she tried to clear the balance. The school agreed — and that’s the last comfort she had.
When she didn’t see Ian among those sent home for fees, she thought he was safe and studying.
But on 18th October, as other parents welcomed their children home, Mama Ian waited for the notification that never came.
When she called the school, a teacher said the students had already left hours earlier. Later, Ian’s class teacher claimed he had gone home weeks ago due to school fees. But the principal denied ever sending him home.
That’s when reality hit — her son had been missing for nearly three weeks, and the school never noticed.
A classmate said Ian had mentioned feeling unwell and wanting to go home after church on Sunday, 28th September. But his mother never received any leave-out message — and the school has no idea how he left.
The matter is now reported at Nyakianga Police Station, under OB Number 13/19/10/2025 at 1511 hours.
Now a family is living through every parent’s worst nightmare — wondering where their child is, whether he’s safe, or if he’s even alive.
Please, if you’ve seen Ian Gichagua Maingi or have any information about his whereabouts, contact:
📞 Ian’s Dad (David Maingi): 0705 808 358
📞 Ian’s Sister (Beth): 0724 258 870
or report to Nyakianga Police Station or any nearby police post.
🙏 Let’s pray for Ian’s safety. Let’s help bring him home.

The chaos in Kenya's healthcare now, don't be sick. If you are poor, you will die because you won't be treated without money. If you are middle-class, you will sell whatever you have, then die, leaving your family in debt and poverty. It is crazy and people are suffering!
@droid254 They killed my friend😭😭😭mama Eliana in their staff van from work😭the van fucking rolled😭Eliana isn’t even 3😭😭How do you hit and run?

This is Florence Wanjiku
She's a co-director for a land selling company in Nakuru
She's a mother of two kids, 10 and 2 years
Florence and one Elias Njeru had a relationship that culminated in investing and opening a business together. They also got a child together now, 2 years. As time went by her co-director didn't pay up her dues and their relationship started becoming rocky with Flo calling it quits.
Last year while on a trip to Nairobi from Nakuru, Flo was accosted and arrested by the DCI under claims that she had stolen the company car she was driving. She was arrested and stayed in jail with her one year old baby for a weekend until Elias agreed for her to be released.
The relationship becomes strained with Flo trying to leave and not showing up in the office. Elias continually showing up without notice at her house and demanding to see her or the baby.
Yesterday night they agreed to sit down and agree on co-parenting and they parted ways amicably. No sooner had Flo arrived at her apartment gate, she was hit on the head and stabbed severally, while protecting her head, her was stabbed on her arm and some of her fingers chopped off. (We will not post the pictures as they are very graphic).
The watchman is the one who saved her life and they rushed her to the hospital. Where Elias showed up in a shirt splattered with blood , demanding anti be shown Florence luckily the hospital had been made aware and refused to allow him to see her.
He also showed up at her apartment, insisting on taking his child or he would kill the children. The neighbours chased him away. Meanwhile her relatives were tried to report and three police stations insisted it was not their jurisdiction. The matter is now with Menengai West Police station
Elias Njeru is still free and claiming he is well connected and nothing will happen to him.
Our rallying cry right now is
