💬🌟 Building Better Communication Skills!

Our Wellbeing Group recently focused on effective communication and how we can use it to manage disagreements and resolve conflict positively.

The young people were given a scenario involving a conflict and got creative by designing their own comic strips, completing the story by showing how the situation could be resolved using effective communication. ✏️💭

The activity encouraged them to think about listening to others, expressing themselves clearly, understanding different points of view and finding positive ways forward – all important skills they can use in everyday life.

💙 Join our Wellbeing Group!
Our Wellbeing Group is a safe space to connect, share and grow for young people aged 8–15, helping to increase confidence, improve wellbeing and develop transferable skills. Activities include workshops & creative projects, music tech, photography, sports & outdoor learning, day trips, accreditations and much more!

🏃‍♂️🏅 A huge well done and thank you to Graham and Xing!

On Sunday, Graham and Xing took on the Vitality 10K in support of Ambition Aspire Achieve – and we couldn’t be more grateful! 🧡

A massive congratulations to you both on completing the challenge, and an even bigger thank you for choosing to run for AAA and raising vital funds to support our work with children and young people across Newham.

Every mile run and every pound raised helps us continue providing opportunities, experiences and support for the young people who need us most. 💛

Thank you Graham and Xing for your fantastic effort, commitment and support – we hope you’re both feeling very proud! 👏🏅

🧱💛 A huge thank you to the fantastic LEGO team!

We were delighted to welcome staff from @LEGO_Group to our Terence Brown Arc in the Park for a corporate volunteering day.

The team generously gave their time and energy to help us get the site ready for our 10 Year Celebration event and prepare the Arc for the autumn season. Their hard work made a real difference, and we’re incredibly grateful for their support! 🙌

Corporate volunteering days are a brilliant way to give back to the local community, bring colleagues together and make a practical difference to the spaces used by our children and young people.

🏢 Are you a company looking for a meaningful volunteering opportunity for your team?
We’d love to hear from businesses interested in spending a day volunteering at one of our hubs and supporting the work of Ambition Aspire Achieve.

📧 Get in touch at [email protected] to find out more about corporate volunteering opportunities.

Thank you again to everyone from LEGO who joined us – we really appreciate your support! 🧡
