If coming to Dallas, do yourself a favor and fly Delta. Been in Dallas since Sunday. No idea where bags are. No feedback from American instead of cancellations. On the 4th one now. Seems like plenty of flights are leaving but can’t seem to get a full crew to take Knoxville flights. I get weather, but why cancel same flight over and over and keep inconveniencing the same passengers over and over?

Such sad, heartbreaking news. Bill Beck was a great friend during my time in the General Assembly. He sat directly behind me and always had an encouraging word or a bit of humor for this freshman. Prayers for Beck Family. RIP Bill!

@timburchett the real shame is what occurs on government owned property in DC that’s paid for by the taxpayer. People shouting, cursing disrespecting each other…and this is all during work hours. To the time far greater than than the pennies paid to our military.

This is a question I get quite a lot from folks outside the church--why the extreme emphasis on some biblical commands in the public square and an almost total disregard of others?

I propose that we're much more eager to talk about "they" problems than "we" problems. /1

WOW! According to Reuters, Republican megadonor Peter Thiel will not donate to any Republicans in 2024. He's very displeased with the GOP's attacks on transgender people and their stance on abortion. He would rather see Republicans focus on helping spur innovation in American and competing with China.

In the 2022 election Thiel donated over $35 million to Republicans and Conservative PACs. He also was a huge supporter of Trump, donating a lot of money to him in 2016.

Thiel has a lot of libertarian views, and it appears he doesn’t believe Republicans should be trying to control women or individuals who are transgender.

Personally I’m not a fan of Thiel but I agree with him on these two issues. What are your thoughts?

Happy 4th birthday Bexley. There are no words to
share how special
this four legged baby is to our entire family. My dad didn’t much care for dogs, but Bexley even melted his heart. She has been there through two hard fought campaigns and the painful loss of our dad.
