I am one of the best writers and storytellers in the world.
I stand by that.
My most recent story is proof.
It's a true story about love, life, language, family, travel, dogs, loss, grief, courage, and moving on.
Only the names are changed to protect people's privacy.
Everything else is true.
There are lots of pictures included.
Here's the story and photos:

P.S. Would you be interested if I made this a book or e-book?
I could include extra photos. I have videos too.
Let me know in the comments.
Today, I gave ChatGPT its biggest assignment yet:
Make me a Powerpoint presentation.
I provided the content, examples, and detailed instructions.
Do you think ChatGPT got the job done?
Let's just say I'm sitting here making the entire presentation manually because ChatGPT shat the bed, once again.
Take my job?
Bro, I wish it would.
Sitting at a desk all day is terrible for you.
I know from experience.
It tightens up your neck, back, hips, hamstrings, knees, calves, and ankles.
Being sedentary lowers your metabolism, reduces joint mobility, and fails to stimulate your brain the way movement does.
If you stay chained to your desk, you turn into a bloated tick with painful joints and poor heart health.
Walking, stretching, and working out every day are essential to your mental and physical well-being.
You will live a longer and happier life if you exercise properly.
I guarantee it.
That is why I am so serious about this.
If you work at a desk, the yoga-ball assisted back bridge is the best movement you can do.
It is the exact opposite of the hunched-over position of sitting at a keyboard or staring at a smartphone.
It strengthens your entire posterior chain (back, shoulders, low back, glutes) while stretching out the entire front of your body (chest, shoulders, core, hips.
Most people can't do a full back bridge without hurting themselves.
That's why you use the yoga ball to support you.
The yoga ball lets you safely achieve the back bridge position by carrying your weight for you, so you don't overload and get injured.
You can adjust your positioning to find the amount of weight you can carry without pain, and let the yoga ball carry the rest.
I recommend doing this daily if you work at a desk.

Calisthenics circuit:
-Yoga ball back bridge (1 min)
-Deep squat pop up to heel touch (12x)
-Deep squat pop up to twist (10x each side)
-Deep lunge ice skaters side to side (10x each side)
Repeat 4 rounds
People guard the size of their marketing budget like they guard the size of their privates.
If you don't trust your marketing partner enough to have a meaningful budget discussion, then you should find a new marketing partner.
Yes, size matters. A lot.
There is a gameplan for every budget, from $0 to $100K+/month.
But they are NOT the same.
The amount you're comfortable spending on marketing each month dictates the appropriate course of action more than any other variable.
Budget is not the only variable, but it is a controlling one.
Get clear about the size of your monthly budget, so you can make informed decisions about how to allocate it.
If you want help with that, let's talk:

My new battle station is finally complete.
Nothing about this space is an accident.
I designed every detail with precision for maximum efficiency and seamlessness in my workflow.
Can't wait to continue kicking 2026 right in the 🥜.
Today was a chest-focused workout.
Often I pick one muscle group to focus on - but still do dynamic movements and full-body exercises to train the rest of the body, too.
Circuit 1
Bench press (12, 10, 8, 6)
Bird dog (45 seconds)
Cossack squat (12x each side)
Kick throughs (12x each side)
4 rounds
Circuit 2
Incline bench (12, 10, 8, 6)
Mountain climber variation (12x each side)
Mini hops (50x)
4 rounds
Finished with chest flies (5 sets of 12 reps) and triceps extensions (5 sets of 12 reps)
''Just do it.''
Gotta be the greatest marketing slogan of all time.
Why?
Because Nike knows their customers:
People who train.
And Nike knows their customers' biggest challenge:
Showing up to train.
There are always a million good reasons to train.
And there are always a million excuses not to.
What does Nike say?
''Just do it.''
Brilliant.
People like me have the tendency to pin the throttle every day.
But sometimes it's better to tap the brakes.
Recovery is important.
But unless you are literally too sick or injured to get out of bed, there is always something you can do to get better.
Today, I was feeling stiff.
It took forever to warm up.
So, I listened to what my body was telling me, and trained lighter than I otherwise would have.
I didn't take it as an excuse to do nothing.
Here is a fun circuit from today's workout:
•Handstand twists (10x each side)
•Rotations in crab position (10x each side)
•Plank (1 min)
•Side plank in flag position (30 seconds each side)
•Calf extension isometric on Bosu ball (45 seconds)
Repeat for 4 rounds.
Sometimes it feels like the entire Universe has conspired against you.
Especially as an entrepreneur.
But if you pay attention, the Universe sends you signs.
This week I got two of them.
First, I left my phone at the gym.
I left the gym looking for it.
Then came back to the gym, figuring I just forgot it at home.
When I got back to the gym, a guy I'd never met walked up and handed it to me.
A $2,000 iPhone plus all of my data - saved by an anonymous legend.
The second sign came in the parking lot of a business event in San Diego.
My business partner and I went to Costco to pick up a few things.
Then we got in the car and drove to the business event.
About halfway there, I realized my sunglasses were missing.
They were tucked into the neck of my shirt and must have fallen off when I was loading things into the car.
I'm not one to buy fancy things, but since I got Lasik surgery, I take all precautions to protect my eyes.
So I bought a nice pair of Ray-Bans, which were now lost.
I looked all around in the car.
They were nowhere to be found. Goners.
A new pair of shades flushed down the toilet.
I was sore about it.
When we reached our destination, my business partner opened the trunk to grab his shoes.
What do you think we found?
My Ray-Bans perched precariously on the ledge of the trunk.
Somehow they didn't fall.
And somehow they didn't get smashed when we closed the trunk.
I got my Ray-Bans back, good as new.
Sometimes it feels like the Universe is against you, but other times God sends you messages.
This week, I got two of them.
Maybe it was good karma.
I think it was God saying, ''I see you. I've got your back. Keep going.''
I post more or less the same content on all platforms.
The exception being Instagram, because many of my posts don't have photos or videos.
I know that's not how you're ''supposed'' to do social media.
I don't care.
I write, film, and post what I want, when I want.
That's just how I roll.
I'm not going to change that to try to appeal to some stupid algorithm.
I wipe my ass with algorithms.
I'm no influencer - and I'm hardly the model for ''how to do social media'' -but I know a thing or two about consistency.
And my opinion is that the ''right'' way to do social media - or any creative pursuit, for that matter - is the way you can do it consistently, over a long period of time, without hating it or hating yourself.
You can't outwork someone who loves what they're doing.
The right way is the one that works for you.
Seen a couple of posts recently about how meetings and video calls are a waste of time.
That's crazy to me.
My most powerful business connections - clients, business partners, referral sources - never would have happened if I wasn't taking meetings and video calls.
Yes, you have to carefully curate the people you meet with because there are plenty of people who will waste your time.
But there are also plenty of serious people who won't waste your time at all.
If meetings and video calls are wasting your time, it's because you're not curating them properly - not because those activities are inherently useless.
Lots of noise in the news recently about Mexican cartels.
The real Mexican gangster is the guy who returned my brand-new, $2,000 iPhone to me today when I left it at the gym.
Absolute legend.
Saved my life.
Things you don't see in the news.
Happy to share that I'll be speaking at TJ - Communication Matrix!
Join us at MIND Hub in Tijuana on Monday, March 9 at 4:30 pm to meet an outstanding group of entrepreneurs and business people from the U.S. and Mexico.
I'll be presenting about digital marketing and value creation for founders and scaling businesses.
See you there!

I'm sure glad that other people's false limiting beliefs don't apply to me.
Otherwise, I'd never accomplish anything.
Other people's limiting beliefs are their problem, and their problem only.
Never forget that.
They have nothing to do with you.
This includes family, friends, coaches, teammates, and other people who ''should'' be supporting you.
Stay away from people who doubt you or place limits on you.
Your dreams exist because you were meant to accomplish them.
It's called living with purpose.
Always believe in yourself and surround yourself with people who believe in you.
This is the way.
When people don't believe in me, I don't start doubting myself.
I just stop hanging out with them.
There are no exceptions.
I should quit my day job and start a fitness channel.
I should write a book and sell a million copies.
I should start a band and travel the world playing rock and roll.
Some people think these are pipe dreams.
I think it's only a matter of time before they happen.
That's why I keep showing up every day.
I believe in myself even though I am literally the only person in the world who thinks I will succeed.
And that is exactly why I will succeed.
Self-belief and consistent action.
I've seen enough of my dreams come true to know that this is the way.
Take notes and be sure to join my fan club.
One of my friends asked how I keep consistently coming up with writing ideas.
A lot of them come to me while I am working out.
That's just one more reason to get out there and train.
Sick of your job? Go train.
Need content ideas? Go train.
Feeling fat and lethargic? Go train.
It may not solve all of your problems, but it will solve a lot of them.
It will definitely solve enough of them that you should get out there and train.
I showed up to the gym today feeling so shitty that I almost turned around and went home.
Sick of everything and everyone - with work right at the top of the list of things I’m sick of.
Instead of going home, I ran 3 miles in 15:00 flat and crushed a 2+ hour workout.
I left the gym thinking I should double my rates, and that’s exactly what I am going to do.
I do not have time for anything less.
There are two lessons here:
1. If you’re sick of the world, go to the gym. The answers to your problems are in the giant sweat puddle at your feet.
2. If you’re thinking about hiring me, you'd better do it now. My prices are not going down. It’s only a matter of time before they go up again, and it will probably be soon.
Now I’m going to go eat pho like a boss and think about all the cash I’m about to make.
Ya’ll know nothing about Tijuana.
Maybe you got blacked out here when you were in college.
I did, too.
But that’s not the real Tijuana.
There is real life here.
There is real business here.
There are real people here.
I don’t have a car, and I don’t want one.
I walk everywhere.
I’ve learned the streets.
I know where to get the best tacos, the best fish, and the best pho.
I know where to go play pickleball with an ocean view.
I know the regulars at the gym, and they know me.
I know where I go to pray, and where I go to cry – they are the same place.
I know where to find faith, hope, and love.
Ya’ll know nothing about TJ.
But I will show you a few things.

Video: My roof is one of my favorite places here in TJ.
Panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, San Diego, the U.S.-Mexico border, and the hills of Tijuana.
I come up here every day to think – or not think at all.
One time, we saw UFOs up here at night. I shit you not.
