Enforcing penalty is the only way transport operators will learn and take precautions against overloading buses to the extent that the main entrance is sealed shut until the end of the journey which is totally not safe.
@FRSCNigeria@nemanigeria
Road Safety, please review this concern: The bus is overloaded to the point where the main entrance is blocked. Passengers had to exit through the windows and the driver's door during an urgent stop. What if there's an emergency?
In event of emergency the main door of the bus cannot be opened quickly for passengers to escape to safety. I suggest the FRSC and any relevant authorities should address this issue and enforce the discharge of any overloaded bus or any penalty.
@akinxplufic26@fccpcnigeria@AishaYesufu But FCCPC is not the first point of call when u have issues. U must have made an official report to the org on ur own first and follow their resolution procedure. Only when they fail on their schedule then u report to FCCPC. Read up procedure frm FCCPC site
@ChukwudiNwangwu@fccpcnigeria@AishaYesufu@IkejaElectric Although they have a procedure, read it up. You can't report to FCCPC without proof of efforts u have personally made initially that was not honored. FCCPC comes in after ur efforts seem fruitless with clear proof not just words
@akinxplufic26@fccpcnigeria@AishaYesufu Within 24hours. Just try again and copy any other authority in the sector you are reporting. Also copy any of the snr mgr of the company owing you, they can take action when they see that u have filed a report against them
@adaydayji@fccpcnigeria@AishaYesufu It's not rating them, I only shared my experience without any connections. So it's possible for things to work, let's just keep Speaking out and not keep quiet
@bestimekings@AishaYesufu Google and Check the FCCPC website and read their procedure, but I think it is govt agencies and bigger privates firms that will respond faster to FCCPC bcos they have a reputation to protect. Get more info online
@AishaYesufu 9ja most times we don't want stress, just settle move on. But this is what has made bribe become a norm. If we file official complain or petition and someone is disciplined for bribery, the next person to occupy the office will likely stepup. We need more people to speakout.
@AishaYesufu Although I understand very well this is very different from your case, but I just thought to share coz more people need to be aware of SERVICOM and FCCPC and give them a try. SERVICOM saved me from paying excess fee at NIPOST & tax office at one time. Another gist. Smiles.
@AishaYesufu Infact the FCCPC created an online tracking system, sent me login info where I could track & monitor their progress on the matter. I was shocked and impressed a govt agency had such a working system. This country can actually work! It is possible! We just need systems that work
@cacnigeria1@ohenkay This is 21st century, why make us call someone when we can actually just do it online on first come first serve base with each state quota with a dedicated link on CAC website, cos you online service has greatly improved, I got a name verification approved in 4hours
