There were a few fire sure. This guy has been bad both ways and really shouldn’t be behind the plate in a game of this magnitude. But calls in pivotal portions of the AB make a difference. Bad call 0-0 isn’t as bad as a bad call in a 2-1 or 2-2 count, for either side.

Ohh and there are several ways that being on second doesn’t score on a hit, but being on third does. Anything in front of an outfielder means you have to hold up on third or risk being thrown out as the 3rd out at home. Which is worse than being thrown out at 3rd.

Ohh shit, look at that, it just happed again, base hit to right field and runner went from first to third. There is alot of sayings in baseball, “only swing at strikes” I guess if they all followed that there would be no strikeouts…
