@NicholasKi70329@_its_not_real_ I was in school when it came out and made my friends use it for a project. The real time collaboration stuff beat using word and passing a trillion copies of the doc around using usb sticks. You get that experience working on Google Docs these days but that came from wave
@architectonyx@punished_daniel In python they dont enforce shit so you can just make a list of whatever bullshit classes you come up with then iterate through them calling a function and it will just do it until it fails. The alternative is Java style interfaces and getting each class to implement them.
@thejelvprint If the data is fixed size, in a table with pages size of a factor of 256, then you can avoid reading and writing to 2 extra pages, if the page is size 256 then you’re tripling the work. Real ball knowers just set it to 250 so people don’t complain.
@yakuza3d2a Wii VC was so clutch for me as a kid, I was too young to emulate and had no older siblings so that’s how I experienced most of the NES-N64 games
@clefableV@_claypot You need a DS phat or lite because you need a device with both a gba and DS slot. After that you put the files into the SD card and use burn2slot or godmode9i to burn them.
@clefableV@_claypot You can do it with a DS if you have a flash cart, otherwise yeah I recommend getting a writer, as a bonus you can use it to back up your old GBA saves. Honestly for me it’s a bit of a hobby.
@_claypot AliExpress has $16 SRAM carts with RTC that will reliably save and load pokemon games, based on the open source chisflash project. It is exactly the same hardware as a real cart except it’s rewritable, and doesn’t lower battery usage.
@RblxSlenderman@_claypot Anything that isn't trying to trick you into buying a pokemon game is probably going to be good. Try looking for things that advertise the exact amount of memory you need for pokemon games, then do the case swap yourself.
@dhakshsohd@_claypot I have used these and they work pretty well: https://t.co/mcT8QdMVQx
They are meant for boktai and come preloaded with it so you need a flasher for them.
These seem promising, I haven't tested them personally: https://t.co/Ev3vIWVsDH
You need a flasher, I suggest a gbxcart
@Freedom_Trinity@kindabradatthis A lot of marketplace decks are basically new because people buy them then realize they’re not the kind of person that needs one. When I got mine it still smelled new.
