BREAKING: Peter Murrell, the husband of ex-First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, has been re-arrested in connection with an investigation into the SNP finances.

Police Scotland say he was taken into custody at 9.13 AM. He's being questioned by detectives.

He resigned in March 2023.
