Mining has a reputation problem. Yet almost everything we use depends on metals.
The question is not whether society needs mining. It is where, and how we want it done.
Norway is wealthy enough not to mine at any cost. That gives it the chance to set a high standard.

Last month at the Sierra Plata Project, we made strong exploration progress:
🔹 7 veins identified
🔹 20 historical workings located
🔹 186 rock samples collected
🔹 Trenching program being designed
The exploration story at Sierra Plata continues to develop. ⛏️
Norway was a mining country long before it became an oil country.
Then oil arrived, metal markets weakened, and skills, capital and people moved offshore. Exploration slowed. Mines closed.
But the rocks did not disappear.
You cannot print copper. You have to find it.

Europe talks a lot about supply-chain independence.
It has to start somewhere. It starts with the bedrock.
Norway shares the belts that built Swedish and Finnish mining, yet much of its map tells a different story.
Resource security starts with knowing what you have.
