Hipocresía absoluta y bajeza política en su máxima expresión. Eso es lo que demuestra la oposición, especialmente esos diputados que ahora fingen preocuparse por los ganaderos.

Hablemos claro de la leche en polvo:

• El Salvador era el único país de Centroamérica y prácticamente del continente sin una ley que permitiera procesar lácteos con leche en polvo o su combinación con leche fluida.
• En los países de la región que sí la tienen, la producción nacional de leche no ha disminuido.
• Mientras aquí estaba prohibida la combinación, la mayoría de los productos lácteos importados se hacían con leche en polvo. ¿Cómo íbamos a competir así?
La verdadera competencia desleal que hunde a los ganaderos son los análogos, extensores y grasas vegetales que sustituyen la leche, además de adulterar el producto y poner en riesgo la salud. Eso está PROHIBIDO. ¡Prohibido! Punto final.

Procesar lácteos 100% con leche en polvo es posible en algunas ocasiones pero sale más caro, tiene un sabor y textura diferentes, por ende, los consumidores lo notarían. La combinación con leche fluida es necesaria para obtener mejor calidad y eficiencia. Cuanta más leche fluida, mejor el producto. Al prohibir los adulterantes, obligamos a los procesadores a usar leche sin trampas.

¿ARENA preocupada por la ganadería?
Por favor. Ellos nos convirtieron en un país dependiente de importaciones en todos los sectores, incluido el lácteo. Gobernaron más de 20 años en bonanza económica y no lograron la autosuficiencia. Ahora quieren venir a dar consejos y lecciones. Lo más chistoso es que eso y más estamos haciendo en favor del sector ganadero. Ni hablar del partido de “¡Libérenlos ya!”, esos están peores.

Si de verdad les importan los ganaderos, dejen de desinformar, de generar miedo y de armar campañas con mentiras. Organícenlos y ayúdenlos a acceder al Programa de Aumento a la Producción, que ofrece beneficios concretos (los cuales los expliqué en la comisión donde ningunos de los diputados hablantines estuvieron):

• Asistencia veterinaria integral gratuita.
• Mejora genética (inseminación artificial y transferencia de embriones) sin costo.
• Insumos a precio de costo vía AGROCENTA.
• Concentrados para bovinos hasta $5 más baratos que en el mercado.
• Créditos con tasas preferenciales del BFA.
• Maquinaria (ordeñadoras, ensiladoras, picadoras, molinos, etc.).
• Asistencia técnica, tecnificación e inocuidad.
• Pastos mejorados y contraparte de inversión en insumos.

En vez de campañas sucias, hagan algo útil por el sector y pásennos el contacto de todos esos que disque se han reunido.

Acá está el testimonio real de una pequeña ganadera que ya está recibiendo estos beneficios. Eso es apoyo de verdad, no pura demagogia barata como el del tiktoker que dice ser ganadero y que no tiene ni una vaca a su nombre.

Technological progress is the only real path to solving humanity's biggest problems.

Degrowth will not save us. It will only make people poorer, slow down innovation, and trap civilization in stagnation. Problems are not solved by having less wealth, less energy, less industry, and less ambition.

Without more wealth, you do not get more advanced tech and science.
Without advanced science, you do not get better medicine, cleaner energy, smarter infrastructure, longer lives, abundance.

Without technological progress, you are just managing decline.

Every major improvement in human history came from doing more, building more, discovering more, and becoming more capable, not from shrinking civilization.

The way forward is not less technology.

If we want to cure diseases, reverse aging, build clean energy at massive scale, explore space, automate dangerous work, and raise global living standards, we need acceleration.

Nunca dejes que las burlas de los demás detengan tus metas.

Cuando propuse que el Hospital Rosales, que en ese momento era el peor hospital del país, se convirtiera en el mejor de Centroamérica, hasta mis propios ministros se rieron.

Imaginen lo que decían la oposición y los incrédulos.

Pero yo sabía que, con esfuerzo, disciplina y sin mirar hacia atrás ni hacia los lados, se podía lograr.

Y lo logramos.

Hoy, el Hospital Rosales es el mejor hospital de Centroamérica, público o privado. Cuenta con todas las especialidades médicas, el equipamiento más avanzado del mundo, 200 especialistas extranjeros y 3,000 salvadoreños listos para atender cualquier enfermedad de forma gratuita.

El siguiente paso es que más hospitales de nuestro país alcancen ese nivel.

Pronto tendremos otra sorpresa.

The key to saving the environment is not looking backward, it’s moving forward.

I realized this the first time I visited Italy twenty years ago. Everything was clean and green. The rivers sparkled. The lesson for me was obvious: the answer is not underdevelopment. The answer is progress.

When China was poor, the air was so polluted that people could barely see the blue sky. Today, blue skies have returned to their cities. Development does not only create wealth, it also provides the resources needed to restore and protect the environment.

Some environmentalists want us to preserve every aspect of our biodiversity, including the mosquitoes for example, so that researchers can fly in once every ten years from their universities (which build particle accelerators and billion-dollar laboratories with their pocket money), study our ecosystems, and count how many people died from dengue outbreaks.

They want to buy our air through carbon credits. If carbon credits were such a great deal, they would be selling them to us, not the other way around.

Cleaning every river, lake, and water source in El Salvador, and ensuring they remain clean and sparkling, would cost roughly $12 billion. Where is that money supposed to come from without economic development? Carbon credits?

The path forward for our country is the path of Japan and Singapore, not the path of the Congo.
