📣NEW PAPER📣
Recently published work, led by Callum Bryson, explores food insecurity experiences in people with lived experience of an eating disorder, including their perspectives on seeking help for their food insecurity and suggestions for improving clinical guidance.

Our film highlights the experiences of young people from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, who share their perspectives on how their ethnicity and culture impacted their experience of developing, living with and seeking help for an eating disorder.
Eating Disorders Awareness Week (EDAW) happens each year to increase understanding of eating disorders and the many ways they can affect people’s lives. Despite common stereotypes, eating disorders can affect people of all ages, genders, backgrounds and body types.
Informed by lived experience, and created by researchers from the EDIFY programme and the animation company Woven Ink, this short animated film aims to raise awareness of these challenges and emphasise that everyone deserves understanding, support, and access to care.
