Almost every time someone sends me their work to edit, they apologize for how โbadโ it is or how many mistakes theyโve made. Writers, I just want to let you know, you donโt need to apologize. Errors are human. We all make them. And itโs my JOB to fix them. Youโre good. #amediting
I still have space for a few of these small projects this month. I would especially love to work with you if you are a marginalized writer--even more so if you are queer and/or disabled (like me)!
Hi everyone! I currently have some emergency bills (for myself and the cats) to pay, so Iโm offering a little flash sale on select editing services. Please check out the thread for details. Also, I greatly appreciate shares. Cat photo for tax.

PS: I am willing to work on slightly longer pieces, too, depending on how far over 1k they are. You will need to mention this up front, though, so I can let you know if it will require an additional fee and so I can plan accordingly.

Send an email to [email protected] with your name, project description (including word count), type of feedback youโd like, and deadline if you have one. You should also mention this offer. I will get back to you within 24 hours.
@AlliTurner11 Thatโs basically it, but it was a case of a sentence meaning one thing without the comma and a different thing with it. Both meanings made sense in the context. I wanted to query to clarify the intent. โบ๏ธ
Sometimes when Iโm editing, I donโt want to stop to type out a full comment, so Iโll leave myself a shorthand note for later that I know Iโll understand. Can you guess what this one means? #AmEditing
Hi friends! For various reasons, Iโve taken an extended hiatus from Twitter & many other forms of social media. Butโฆ I think Iโm ready to ease back into it. I wonโt be on every day or anything, but I look forward to catching up with yโall ๐
A few other editors I know and love are:
@CarolinaMarie_V@Editrix_Rachel@EditorBrenna
@redpenrabbit
Check them out, give them a follow, and remember to #ShopSmall even when youโre looking for an editor! Itโs worth your while ๐
Hey friends! Long time no see. Hope youโre all doing well. Iโm cheering you on from afar.
Just thought Iโd drop in for #SmallBusinessSaturday to remind you of all the amazing independent editors (including me ๐) ready to help you with your work.
I am a queer (multi-spec, ace, polyam), disabled editor who enjoys working on speculative fiction and romance (especially featuring queer and/or disabled MCs). I love working with other queer and/or disabled folks! You can contact me via my website: https://t.co/BXawEroZ7l
