So the idea is that the people we spend most time with are the biggest influence on our behavior, attitudes and outcomes in life.
Mingling with gossipers probably makes you a gossiper,

I don't think this means u start to ruthlessly cutting off people from your life. It simply means u are deliberate about the external environment u expose yourself to:

Giving your time, your resources, your listening ear and your love. Someone is waiting for it, it doesn't even need to cost you anything.

Proverbs 11:25 makes it clear that God adds more blessings on those that bless others. So the blessings you are getting are not just for you to enjoy, they are also for u to bless others.

Life is a race (2 Timothy 4:7, Galatians 5:8), a unique race where we are not competing with others but with the limited time to achieve God's purpose.

It's okay to have mentors, role models, partners and people who inspire us but it's not okay to try and be someone else.

Don't assume success = happiness, they aren't always the same.
We can all agree, attaining financial security is universally a good place to be in this capitalistic world. However consider whether that should be at all costs and if it is indeed the most important thing for you.

Whether u do new year resolutions or not, most people tend to think about success and goals at this time. It's important to remember success means different things to us all. Have a clear vision of what success looks like for u, don't try copy / mimic another person.

In our busy lives it's easy fail to notice the blessings we have.
There was a time Jesus healed 10 lepers but only 1 said thank you.
Let's be mindful to not be like the 9. Look around u and appreciate all the blessings u have.

Someone asked me if as a #PropertyInvestor I wasn't worried about the impending "Market Crash". My response "whether I worry or not, this will have zero impact on the market, my focus is on things that are within my control, I have left @RishiSunak to worry about the market"

Ecclesiastes 3 is my favourite Bible chapter, it starts "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens"
Whether u are going thru a high or low season remember to focus on the things u are in control of and changing other people's life.

Many are raving about Digital Assets, Crypto / BlockChain, content creation etc..
What is your view about these new age assets & how they compare to more traditional investment channels?

@LisaNyamadzawo @drDendere I think guilt too strong a word to attribute to the way I feel. Life is too short, right? Kids are great young adults indeed. We do take them to Zim every few of years and gratifying to see them identify with their roots notwithstanding the language deficit.

@drDendere @LisaNyamadzawo I have to disagree, it is not hard, think we in the diaspora just have to hold up our hands and admit we let our kids down. I feel embarrassed now that my kids can't speak my own language fluently.
We really need to review our mindset on this topic otherwise our identity is lost
