@paulg Wait, there are people that DON’T use tab search daily??? What do you do?… like actually close tabs, then type the URL from scratch weeks later like it’s the 90s?
Many people do not seem to want data centres built near them, despite the fact that they don't cause that much traffic and often generate a lot of local tax revenue. I suspect it's partly because they're ugly! My proposal:
@thsottiaux@alxfazio I could see this being useful. I’ve had a few situations where I had a thread on feature A and a thread for B, and debating which thread has the best context to integrate the features together.
@AdamRackis • Regular Nash → only single players can’t profit from deviating.
• Strong Nash → no coalition at all (even 500,001 players) can all become better off by coordinating a joint deviation.
@AdamRackis No, both are Nash Equilibrium (all red, all blue), but red is a Stable NE. It’s been a while since I took Game Theory so from Grok: (see next post):
@catgirlprostate I’ve had this printer for 15 years, and I just found out last month you can just install https://t.co/EGLz7IHl2s and you just upgraded it to an AirPrint Server, and print from your iPhone/iPad. You’re welcome.
@afterxleep I gave up on TM years ago. Xcode, is my white whale now! Oddly enough, I tried to setup my old Time Capsule as a node on my WiFi in bridge mode yesterday, and it turns out Apple has deprecated the whole device. You can’t do a new backup on them anymore, so now I have a 3TB NAS 🤷♂️
Idea: Wait for full FSD. Use empty transports to reverse supply chain HW3 vehicles back to a central location. Upgrade. When done, tell the vehicles to drive themselves home!
HW upgrade will NOT happen for HW3 cars. Tesla will realize how costly, labor intensive, and inefficient that idea is and scrap that. Tesla doesn’t have enough technicians to service all these customer upgrades while still handling regular service calls. They will end up offering some type of FSD discount (hopefully) for HW3 owners to trade in, take a hit on their FSD purchase, and then do the hardware upgrades internally and at their own pace instead. This way, their technicians won’t be overwhelmed.
@afterxleep 100% 256GB has become nothing if you use XCode. I can have 20GB free and a few hours later be getting warnings and failures saying disk full.
@GustavS@chrisoshea@danielcberk@Spotify The main problem is smart speakers. They can’t (or won’t) ask Google or Alexa to switch profiles, they just ask to hear Taylor Swift!
@Dan_Jeffries1 You don’t think there’s a 100 solo devs each product right now trying to build a cheaper, better, and faster version of that product to sell? Even if they don’t succeed, they will absolutely erode gross margins.
