Mixed emotions about this Dave Barry guy. I could strongly relate to his point of view on men when he questioned man’s capability of having deep feelings. Leonce hasn’t once expressed his own. However, he claims men aren’t scum and I couldn’t disagree more. #GuysVsMen

Our society is pitiful. “...Remember the Ladies, and be more generous and favourable to them than your ancestors.” Over a century later, and I still share the same mindset as Abagail Adams. Men still treat us like objects leaving us with no dignity. Smh.. #RemembertheLadies

Just read Deborah Tannen’s “Sex, Lies, and Conversation”. Her explanation of how women feel as if their husbands do not listen to what they have to say pretty much sums up my life. Léonce cares more about the parrots than what I have to say😑 #feelingunhappy

@EdnaP_Erin It’s like conquering the fear of swimming gave us the power to stand up to Léonce. He can no longer command us around however he pleases.

Not only did I listen to Mademoiselle play the piano at a party and learn how to swim, I finally stood up to Léonce!What. A. Night. The next day I spent boating and attending church with my best friend Robert.🙏🏼

Couldn’t relate to Theroux more when he said, “It is very hard to imagine any concept of manliness that does not belittle women...” Their false sense of “dominance” they feel is necessary to keep us in our place is rather foolish. It’s time to do our own thing!
