“FIFA’s judicial bodies are independent. They operate autonomously, apply the FIFA Disciplinary Code, and decide cases based on the applicable regulations and the specific facts before them. Their independence is essential to the credibility and integrity of football, and this must always be respected.

“Yes, I regularly discuss matters related to the FIFA World Cup with the President of the United States, and on this matter, I did receive a call from President Donald Trump, just as I receive calls from heads of state, government officials, football stakeholders and business executives from around the world on many different issues. During our conversation, I explained that there was an ongoing legal process involving FIFA’s independent judicial bodies and that the case would be decided in due course by the competent bodies. That is how FIFA’s system works, and it is a principle that I will always uphold.

“I read the decisions of the FIFA Disciplinary Committee when they are issued. Sometimes I am surprised by them. Sometimes I agree with them, and sometimes I disagree.

“What I always do, however, is respect those decisions and the autonomy of the bodies that make them. Whether we personally like a decision or not is irrelevant. 🚨 Personal Share: Gyms and Hate Groups

📸 Right now, the headlines are focused on the recent white nationalist march in Washington, D.C., and that one image of a woman on the metro completely surrounded by them. That image is the antithesis of America and the undoing of the civil rights movement. It is important to realize that this ideology isn’t just about racism and hate—it is deeply linked to misogyny, toxic masculinity, and authoritarianism.

👉🏽 As a first-generation Dominican-American who has been in the fitness industry for over two decades, I can confirm the reality of gyms and online spaces being used for recruitment is real, but it rarely gets talked about openly. I’ve spent years trying to counter this. I’ve hosted online forums and written articles about fitness professionals and racism. But most importantly, I have always kept my door open for real, uncomfortable conversations—even with people who lean toward those ideologies. In my experience, having these conversations is always worth it because it is the only way to plant seeds for real change.

🗣️I am sure there are people in my own professional network or personal life who privately tolerate or support this ideology, yet still call me a friend. That is unacceptable and my message to you is direct: hate and hate rhetoric have real-world consequences, and statistically, they lead to hate crimes. You cannot shake my hand and then quietly support an ideology that targets people who look like me. If my words make you uncomfortable then ask yourself why? Are you also forgetting that history proves that when one marginalized or underrepresented community is targeted, others follow.

📣 More importantly, the people speaking up are not the problem here; the problem is the hate rhetoric and the goals of these extremist groups. Their goals are easily accessible, and one simple internet search will list them. For example, look up the far-right political concept of "remigration" and see its direct ties to extreme calls for ethnic cleansing and forced deportation. The documentation is right there.

➡️ It is time for the sports and fitness industry to recognize that it can be a pathway for these white nationalist or any hate groups to recruit, and to finally have these uncomfortable conversations—whether that is through guest speakers, staff discussions, continuing education, or articles. Leaders in these spaces need to remember the impact they have on the community. The younger generation looks up to leadership. They watch fitness professionals, coaches, and influencers both on the field and online, and they are learning exactly what to think based on what is tolerated and what is challenged.

✅ The reality is when people speak out—whether they have a small following, a large online platform, or are speaking face-to-face on the playing field—it creates a permission structure. It gives the next person the courage to initiate the conversation, too. It creates a ripple effect, and those ripples are exactly how real change happens over time. Remember that hate is learned, and it can absolutely be unlearned.

I have no fear of speaking up. If I lose followers on social media, clients or business opportunities, the temporary loss will never be as harmful as the real-world effects of these groups' ideology, rhetoric, and their goals for this country that I love. 🇺🇸

🚨 Yesterday’s Supreme Court ruling on TPS, and the way it is being celebrated, is being used to normalize dehumanizing rhetoric. The decision did not happen in a vacuum. It aligns with objectives outlined in Project 2025, a documented policy blueprint now reflected in active government actions.

🇺🇸🇩🇴 As a first-generation adult child of immigrants, and an American who loves this country, what’s happening right now is deeply disheartening.
I could post only about fitness and healthy living. I could create the illusion that all is well. But doing that would betray my love for this country and my values.

➡️ The sad reality we are experiencing is an attempt to redefine who gets to be seen as fully human. And I will not look away.

🚨The strategy is to use all branches of government to realize the “Great Replacement Theory.” This ideology moves from the fringes into mainstream political frameworks.

The evidence is clear. This is one of many examples: In January, this administration granted TPS to South African nationals, a predominantly white population, while attacking protections for Haitian, Venezuelan, and Syrian communities.

➡️ I have nothing against South Africans receiving TPS. People fleeing instability deserve safety. Compassion and the law should be applied consistently. The issue is the double standard — protection extended to some and denied to others based on race and origin. The hateful language used from the highest office in our country to media personalities is purposeful—designed to dehumanize them and make them seem less worthy.

📌And it does not stop there:
• Ending birthright citizenship
• Pursuing denaturalization
These are part of a coordinated effort to erase who counts as “American.”

I am one person. But I know I am not alone in believing that hate and racism solve nothing, and that both can be unlearned. Also, tolerating hate is perpetuating hate. And it trickles down to our children.

➡️ If my words make you uncomfortable, ask yourself why.

🇺🇸Throughout America’s 250-year history, eras like the Jim Crow period have shown us the devastating dangers of indifference and apathy. We cannot afford either.

🗳️ Never forget: The most powerful peaceful tool we have is the vote. Use it.

• Vote in every local and national election
• Be the change

🗣️ Let’s work together, starting today, for a future where our shared humanity is not negotiable.
