We got to hear from four student teachers at @CSISD. When they were asked why they wanted to be a teacher, they shared with us:

-A passion of working with children
-Foster a love for learning
-Every child needs a stable adult in their life
-Being there for the families too, and building a relationship with parents
-Celebrate each student’s growth and success

While these concepts are not new, these words are a valuable reminder that teachers chose teaching because of the ideals of public education and its impact on children, families, and communities.

I can’t recall meeting someone that couldn’t name a teacher that touched their life somewhere along their K-12 journey!!
