Another summer means some time to relax with a good book! I have been loving historical fiction recently! I just finished a great YA novel about World War II.
This semester, I was able to work with this awesome student in an extra reading field! What a fantastic experience it was to work with this reader each week in a one-on-one setting where I could cater to her needs and learn more about what it means to teach reading!

This morning, I had the opportunity to teach a middle school lesson for my Exceptional Learners class. It such a great learning experience, & because I do not have much experience with middle school students, I learned a lot!
