A year and a half ago, who would have thought that the University of Pennsylvania would apologize and agree to restore athletic accolades to their rightful owners? And that other top universities would also agree to follow Title IX as written?
Happy Title IX Month!
.@EDSecMcMahon and her team at @usedgov are doing great work! @SenateGOP, let's ensure the waste, fraud, and abuse they have rooted out of our student aid programs are gone for good and get this bill on President Trump's desk!
We are proud to see the House pass
@RepBurgessOwens' No Aid for Ghost Students Act, cementing our ongoing efforts to eliminate fraud, waste, and abuse from the federal student aid programs.
For every 5 skilled trades workers who retire, only 2 replace them — putting us on track for a 2.1 million shortfall by 2030.
The good news: starting July 1, under our Workforce Pell program, Americans can gain new skills to earn family-sustaining wages in months, not years.
Fact check: true ✅
Parents are not bystanders in their children’s education.
They have rights under federal law, including the right to inspect and review their child’s education records.
ATTENTION PARENTS:
Did you know that schools are REQUIRED BY LAW to hand over all records pertaining to your child??
You do not need to pay lawyers or waste time filing FOIAs.
You simply need to put in a request. If they refuse just say “FERPA.”
If they still refuse, DM me.
They are breaking the law and we will make sure they are held accountable.
Protecting Title IX and standing up for the dignity and safety of women is an administration-wide priority.
Thank you @AAGDhillon and @TheJusticeDept for your tireless work on this important issue!
Girls don’t belong in boys’ bathrooms & boys have no place on girls’ sports teams.
Today, the @CivilRights Division launched compliance reviews into four CA school districts for policies that appear to ignore biology & promote gender ideology to kids behind their parents’ backs.

Today we kicked off the final round of the Presidential AI Challenge, welcoming finalists from across the country to D.C.
Thank you @EDSecMcMahon, @ENERGY D/Sec Danly, @DepSecVaden, & @NSF A/Director Stone.
Good luck to our finalists & see you all at the @WhiteHouse tomorrow!
Title IX was instituted to secure equal opportunity and equal access for all women and girls.
Prior admins compromised the safety and privacy of women to perpetuate a radical ideology.
Now, under President Trump, biological facts and common sense are back!
In Massachusetts and Vermont, communities are leading the way.
From helping students grow into thoughtful, respectful learners to offering hands‑on training in high‑demand fields, local educators are building strong foundations for the future.
Today I had the honor of meeting with @EDSecMcMahon and her incredible team at the @usedgov.
We discussed the issues plaguing our schools including gender ideology infecting curriculum, p**n books in schools, Title IX violations with schools allowing boys in girl’s sports and bathrooms, and DEI race based discrimination.
Here’s some important points I got from our conversation that I feel is important to share:
- The Education Dept is working on President Trump’s vision of giving education back to the states. Just 10% of school funding is coming from the Dept of Education. They are coadministering many grants with other agencies as they shrink the bureaucracy and return ed to the states
- They already reallocated hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars that were funding equity and lgbtq programs during the Biden admin
- Undid many shocking Biden-era practices which required 5/8 school counselors be black for example, or required districts have policies restricting the school from informing parents about a child’s gender change
- They’re investigating multiple districts for Title IX violations and will pull funding if necessary. BOYS CANNOT ENTER GIRLS SPORTS OR BATHROOMS. This is a straight up violation of the law. Any schools caught doing this should be exposed immediately and will face the consequences
- Parents have a right to their children’s education, curriculum, and records. Under FERPA a school is REQUIRED to hand over all records of a student to their parents. Parents do not need to file FOIAs. A simple request under FERPA is enough and if a school doesn’t cooperate that is a direct violation of the law. Similarly under PPRA, schools are REQUIRED to hand over all curriculum that a parent requests. Any schools caught hiding student records or curriculum is breaking the law and will be held accountable
This is the most pro-parent and pro-child administration. We will do whatever we can to help in protecting children in schools across our country.
Criminals are no longer ripping off hardworking American taxpayers!
The Trump Administration is ensuring fraud, waste, and abuse is rooted out across higher education programs!
This headline is inaccurate and dangerous. It’s typical of @AP to cast ED’s important civil rights investigations as black vs. white issues when we see students of ALL races struggle academically.
To allocate resources disproportionately to students of one race at the expense of others is not only a violation of civil rights law, but an infringement upon the basic fairness to which all students are entitled.
Education Dept under Biden vs Trump
Biden: We will trans your kids and allow boys to beat up your daughters
Trump: We will protect girls and keep boys out of girl’s bathrooms
The contrast cannot be more clear.
Which way, America?
Building the workforce America needs starts in the classroom!
Vermont is leveling up Career and Technical Education–connecting schools directly to the skills employers are looking for.
All of the good work that @EDSecMcMahon and her team are doing needs to continue and be codified.
Every cent of taxpayer money should be treated as sacred because it comes directly out of the pockets of hard-working Americans. That is why no amount of fraud in federal public assistance programs is acceptable.
After hearing from Cabarrus County families about biological males being allowed in girls’ bathrooms and locker rooms, I worked with @usedgov to make sure these concerns were taken seriously. Now, a Title IX investigation has been opened.
Our daughters and granddaughters deserve protected spaces and school leaders who will stand up for them.
