Oromia President Abadula Gemeda says they rejected the 2004 referendum because Somalis were the majority in Moyale & would have won the town.He claims they saved part of it by creating two sides, Oromia & Somali. “Somalis were there for long time we can’t forcibly displace them”.
To us Chinese, Mao Zedong is our hero.
Mao uplifted farmers and the working class in China, united the Chinese people, led us to defeat foreign invaders, and founded an independent country so we could all live with dignity.
Mao supported the heroic struggle of the African people against imperialism and colonialism.
He was one of the greatest leaders in world history, and one of the most demonized by the West.
MOYALE: A FALSE FLAG OPERATION?
It was Wednesday 21st October 2026. On that bright sunny morning, a young 13 year old Somali girl, Diko Ibren Idow, was shot dead by the Oromo region security forces as she witnessed the hoisting of a flag on a government-leased building in the Somali-administered location (Qabale) of Moyale town. Two others were injured. The building is owned by a Somali, Dinow Manur, who had bought the same from an Oromo businessman several years ago. Federal security forces intervened immediately. The Oromo administration claimed that the building’s previous Oromo owner had unpaid taxes, and hence it remains part of its administration. Weird? Nonetheless, the Somali side agreed, and decided to move the offices to an adjacent building on Thursday morning, 22ndOctober. There was no retaliation by the Somalis.
By afternoon of the same day, the Oromos started the invasion. The town came under heavy fire from the Oromo side. This was followed by simultaneous attacks on other towns like Hudat, Chamuk, etc accross the Dawa Zone.
Clearly, the hoisting of a flag was a false flag operation. The Oromo’s long held plan to take over Dawa Zone was now in full swing. Soon, tens of thousands of Oromo militia, supported by Federal security forces, were attacking the Somali towns across the Zone in droves.
The real question is: why would raising a flag over an office that is located inside the Somali-administered part of Moyale be an issue for the Oromia side to start a war? Wasn’t Somali region flag already raised in Moyale for over 35 years? Is there no functioning Somali Region administration on the Somali-administered side of Moyale? What is new?
You are the mouthpiece for the PM. It’s a pity you can be pretentious about what happened. There are state and federal institutions in Moyale to answer all your queries, but you are not interested.
Is there a will for ‘ an independent and impartial investigation’ from Abiy Ahmed? Has Oromo identity not become ‘a tool for incitement, intimidation, territorial ambition’ in Ethiopia?
@SuleimanDedefo@AbiyAhmedAli
@ridgulle The question should be why didn't A.S attack SNA during their trip to Raaskambooni? And didn't HSM call for a halt of fighting to attack KGS?
Do you understand that WOMEN were fighting in El-Fasher?? Holding rifles and fighting for their lives, shooting at rapists, this is how dire the situation was with the seige

I have never cried in my life like the day Al-Fashir fell. It was meant to be a humiliation of Sudan, the UAE pulled out of "peace talks" in the US and our lines of communication with the city were lost. Soon enough we began seeing the executions and bodies. Pure death. But the last moments of heroic resistance - injured and with low ammo, yet still with the smile of victory on their faces - were meant as a beacon to turn that despair into a decisive commitment. An entire nation made its mind up: We will never be stepped on again. The last stand of Al-Fashir is the fertile ground from which a new Sudan rises.
#Eritrea: President Isaias Afwerki in #Moscow
I love the hospitality, but watching my President step off a plane and casually eat whatever he's offered gives me anxiety. 😭
PIA, please! Security first, snacks second. 😂
Am I the only one who gets nervous watching this?
To the brain dead evangelicals in the west speaking on Ethiopia; OLA are ethnic extremists and not Muslims. They are backed by a Protestant prime minister who wants to eradicate the Orthodox Church. You Protestants are as much to blame as Muslims
