Today our amazing son rang the bell. 3 years and 3 months after he started his chemo journey due to leukaemia. We are humbled by all involved in Milos care and eternally grateful.

@2StefanMoore@PhxChildrens I understand. Even though we were lucky with Milo, our daughter is now under Great Ormond Street (UK children's hospital where Milo had chemo) for something less serious. We had been going back and forth locally and then we were referred to GOSH. We felt relieved.
@NickMotown My brothers name is Chris Shorter. We all had a mate called Chris who was older than my brother. So he was called Chris. Then my brothers name became Drinks. It stems from Chris Shorter drinks water. He is still called Drinks to this day, over 30 years later.
@2StefanMoore My wife and I were taken to another room. We hit the floor and sobbed. I got home and was wretching. That was in oct 2020. He rang the bell on feb 2nd this year. We know other kids aren't so lucky. So it felt bittersweet. We think of those often
