We were honoured to have @DrNighatArif join our Med25 cohort this morning for an inspiring talk on what it truly means to be a doctor. Her insightful words reminded us that while accolades are appreciated, it’s the pursuit of meaningful change that should be our ultimate goal.
Today I have the honour to represent SWFT, GEH and the Midlands Guardian Network at a celebration event at the House of Lords, talking about speaking up and the power of listening and following up.
Echoing our CEO, at @nhsswft we are absolutely appalled at the violence currently being seen across the country. Diversity is our strength and we are proud of all our colleagues and students.

Tearing up at the nominations coming through for the SWFT FY1 prize. I know as rotating juniors it can sometimes feel like you’re just transient members of a department, but ward teams have been so quick to acknowledge their FY1 colleagues. Really special stuff @EdSwft

We are so proud of The @UniOfBuckingham's Phase II medical student, Prince Tandukar, for saving a life of a 66-year-old Chelsea fan Paul Archer by performing a CPR after Paul collapsed from a cardiac arrest at Stamford Bridge in November 2023.
