@evriley @knflkkollective Huge asterisk: Take away the 3-point shot and the women's basketball, then Lynette Woodard is the GOAT! Can't beat what you can't replicate.
@HandmaidsOnHulu Considering the manipulative nature of June's character throughout this series to get what she wants, this very well could be a tactic to get Luke to agree. She admitted that she's always planning and plotting. #OnlyForSomeWomen
@HandmaidsOnHulu This episode wasn't it. I used fast-forward through most June/Serena scenes. Too unrealistic. Who are the consultants? The idea that victims give grace/forgiveness to their oppressors for their own sanity & humanity is an old, tired, colonial weapon to absolve the evil doers.
@HandmaidsOnHulu Nope. Self-absorbed, self-serving, power thirsty, narcissistic, rapist, entitled, elitist, enslaver, oppressor, baby thief. She's ok with the rules as long as they don't apply to her. #SerenaTheJoyKiller#NoRedemption
My home town high school fired its first Black principal amid the CRT panic last year. Tonight, two right wing board members are proposing a set of "Classical Social and Emotional Learning" policies. They have to do with how history is taught. I've pulled out a few examples.

@EmilyHGriffith1 I've been there--had to advocate for my child to get the reading support she deserved. It wouldn't have happened if I wasn't a special educator and didn't know how to advocate. It pisses me off when I think about how other children are slighted when parents don't have access.
@sbearbergman@e_sequin @ItsDanaWhite Someone recently approached me to expound on a topic they're committed to misunderstanding. Their first few words were, "Persuade me. Explain to me . . ."
My reply, "Nope."
I don't do passive consumption. #RunMeMyCoins 🪙 💰
@cbrazas An amazing school in Colombia, @gcampestre, does exactly that! It's a requirement for their teachers' professional growth and development. Their work goes through the peer review process and the school publishes their own academic journal.
