Together we will strengthen Polk State’s legacy of excellence and ensure the college remains responsive to the workforce demands of Polk’s rapidly growing community.

As we wrap up the 2025–2026 school year, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to Florida’s parents and teachers for their unwavering commitment to education and to the success of all students across the state.
Together, we will continue building a future where every Florida student can learn, grow and succeed.
Today, @GovRonDeSantis signed Senate Bills 538 and 178 into law, providing greater support for athletic coaches and expanding opportunities for Florida’s student athletes, including those participating in school choice options.
These measures strengthen school athletic programs by investing in the students and coaches who help them thrive, fostering success both on and off the field.
I am thankful to the Governor and Legislature for their continued support of Florida's students and athletic programs.
