28 years ago today I got off a plane in Guatemala. First day of the rest of my life. How could I have known that what was waiting for me there was love.

I'm very concerned about Alabama's plan to execute Matthew Reeves this Thursday. An injunction is in place but Alabama is barreling forward as if there are no legal obstacles. Matthew is intellectually disabled with an IQ in the 60s. He is not mentally competent for execution.
