@b_aleatorio_@CTVoter@wonghurdyeo She’s the only women in history to ever compete it; it’s called the Biles. The fact that she can stick is other worldly.
Yesterday was an amazing day of planning for Q2 with @HCSMRidge 7th ELA teachers! Protocols from myPerspectives combined with ELLevation strategies support Rigorous Content ✔️and Worthwhile Tasks! ✔️
Today, 8th ELA Ts in @HCSMRidge spent the day planning for quarter 2 and grounding ourselves in the myPerspectives curriculum! Their insights around our high quality curriculum was refreshing! I can’t wait to continue the week with 6th and 7th grade Ts. Rigorous Content ✔️
@JRParris72@edutopia Thanks for sharing these, Jamie!! Sparked a lot of ideas that I’ll be sharing specifically with schools who chose SEAD integration as a part of their APP Focus.
Here are a few academic community building activities via @edutopia that would work great in the Summary Phase of a lesson. Allowing students to reflect on and articulate their learning for the day is critical to the learning learning cycle.
@MsJerni I’d love to see it, Annie! Ive been thinking about ways to teach grammar in more authentic ways. I know (and believe) they shouldn’t been taught in isolation… but it’s hard when they’re tested that way.
Thank you, Mrs. McBee at @EastRidgeMS for opening your classroom to Hamilton County’s new teachers! We are so happy to have her teaching in @HCSMRidge!
@memangrum@hamcoschools@BillGates You are SO missed! I am not sure if we’ve had a real education reporter since you left. Or it doesn’t seem like they write real stories…
In 2018, I spent some time with @hamcoschools educators and students from Howard High School, Chattanooga's oldest school for Black students and the same school @BillGates later visited in 2019.
For this particular story, I was there for a book club.
