Today we announced our emissions reduction target of 70% below 2005 levels by 2035.
This new target is expected to attract $39bn in private investment and support more than 13,000 jobs by 2035.
Days like today deliver real action to benefit the economy and the environment.
Chris Minns’ plan is to replace private investment in the Electricity Roadmap with state owned enterprises, blocking $32 billion of private funds.
This money would have to be replaced by consumers, costing every NSW household $10,458 (more than $1000 a year over a decade).
