A Letter to My Son
A letter to my son. You won't read this for years. But I'm writing it now because the man writing it is different from the man who might write it later. And you deserve to know who he was when he was figuring it out:
Capitalism has raised literally billions of people out of poverty
It is the only system ever devised where you are directly incentivized to make life better for strangers.
This is incontrovertible.
Technologists and capitalists have saved literally billions of lives and improved the standard of living across the board, even as population has grown massively.
This year we made the decision to homeschool our son.
Heโs six years old.
He reads at a fifth grade level.
His favorite composers are Beethoven and Holst.
He knows more about American history than most high school students. And he's ever been exposed to blue-haired activist teachers explain gender theory.
Homeschool your kids.
The most precious thing anyone can teach you is how to figure out the truth for yourself.
Once you learn to see for yourself you go beyond the need for a teacher.
"A child is born to us and He will be called Mighty God." โIsaiah 9:6
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God." โJohn 1:1
"Before Abraham was, I AM!" โJesus (John 8:58)
"I and the Father are one." โJesus (John 10:30)
And on and on...
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy Name,
thy kingdom come,
thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those
who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
-------------------
For thine is the kingdom,
and the power, and the glory,
for ever and ever.
Amen
Christ Is King!
