In 2025, someone laughed at me for spending weekends building, learning and teaching AI.
In 2026, they're in my DMs asking where to start.
The gap between believers and doubters is getting wider every day.
Africa has the talent.
We've been missing structured access to the right skills and that's the only thing standing between an African graduate and a Silicon Valley engineer.
@BTIAfrica and @7fdcof are fixing that. Watch us.
Which side are you on?

Everyone is learning automation.
But not everyone is building anything 🧘🏿♂️
You’ve watched the tutorials.
Saved the threads.
Even bookmarked the tools.
But nothing is actually running.
Because learning without execution = content consumption.
Not skill.
Automation is not what you know.
It’s what you’ve built that works without you.
Nigerian business owners are losing 500+ hours a year to tasks a free app handles in seconds.
Here's the exact breakdown — and what to do about it 🧵
1/ The average small business owner in Nigeria spends 9–17 hours WEEKLY on tasks a free tool can handle automatically.
2/ Things like:
→ Replying 'how much?' 40 times a day
→ Copying form submissions into a spreadsheet
→ Posting the same content to 3 apps manually
→ Chasing leads who said 'I'll pay tomorrow'
3/ That's 500+ hours per year. Over 12 full working weeks. Gone. Every year. To tasks that cost nothing to automate.
4/ I built a full automation system using:
→ Google Forms https://t.co/SCfzsFsuk2 (free)
→ https://t.co/9eEeHsegxj (free)
→ Claude AI https://t.co/iji4uBKBgY (free)
→ Gmail https://t.co/iLofFVrzKC (free)
Total cost: ₦0
5/ The result: Every new lead gets a personalised welcome email in 30 seconds. Without me touching my phone.
6/ I turned everything into a guide.

The past 6years, I've trained 100+ professionals in AI, Coding, Data Analytics.
This became clear.
The #1 thing holding most people back?
They're waiting to feel "ready."
Start messy. Finish strong.
It's a new month 🧘🏿♂️

Happy new month BlacTechies.
Welcome to the Month of April.
Stay tuned for interesting activities and learning opportunities in store for you all.
Remember the best time to do anything is now. 💯
The year is 2020.
Funny how people mocked the future of AI then.
"It's just hype."
"Robots won't take anybody's job"
Now those same people are:
•Losing relevance
•Struggling to keep up
•Asking for AI tools recommendations
Others are still tweeting "AI is over hyped"
While some are leveraging AI to increase their income.
Same Internet.
Different mindset.
Different outcomes.

Midweek.
Most people will never automate their actual workflow with AI.
They'll automate a demo. A toy. A "what if."
But this 3-question filter finds the automation worth building:
1. The Boredom Test: what did you do manually this week that bored you?
Not "what could AI do?" — what did YOU do, with your hands, that felt repetitive? That's your first automation. The boring stuff, not the impressive stuff.
2. The Pain Test: what breaks if you stop doing it?
If nobody notices when you stop, it's not worth automating. Automate the things that hurt when they're missing.
3. The Sentence Test: can you say "I take [this], do [steps], and produce [that]"?
If you can say that sentence, AI can build it. If you can't, you don't understand your own workflow yet. Get clear first.
Start with one. The most boring one. That's where the leverage is.
The most dangerous person in any room right now?
The one who understands both their Craft and AI. It has come to stay. 🧘🏿♂️
Become that person.
