@FixingEducation Happens a lot. Unfortunately it seems many don't study or use Janis' work on the dangers of Groupthink.

Do you know about the BPS Teachers' Toolkit? It's a free online collection of BPS-endorsed resources to support UK pre-university psychology teachers and promote the value of psychology as a subject. Find out more about it here:

English help - can anyone recommend me some online creative writing courses or places for students? Competitions can also work well. I'm out of my depth with this kid, and it's seriously next level (conlangs, mythology writing, etc.).

I was doing some work today on supporting students with writing more in less time. Thought some people out there might find it useful - I use this with Psychology A-Level, English A-Level, and English iGCSE students and find it helps all of them.

@TeachLeadAAli We're several years behind that for now 😅. It's in my mind for when I either move to a better school or if my current school makes some great leaps, though.

[Edward King @EdwardKing18]

@TeachLeadAAli What? Wow! That's crazy, Amjad! You'll be sorely missed, I'm sure. It was lovely being a small part of that journey, and I wish you the best of luck with your new endeavour. I hope our paths cross again some day.

[Edward King @EdwardKing18]

@TeachLeadAAli Doing ok. Doing lots of Psychology and EPQ A-Level now. Still apply loads of what you taught me, so can't thank you enough. How are things with you? I still follow you and see you do loads of CPD, so I'm hoping I can attend one someday when I'm back in England.

Adapted something from my training to really cut down my marking time. Take a look - it is easy to adapt to almost any subject that includes writing longer-answer questions.
