Today was one of those moments I’ll always remember.

I got to work the track meet while my daughter was out there competing in her first middle school meet. Normally I’m helping athletes on the sidelines… but today one of them was mine.

I’m proud of myself for not giving up, and kept bettering myself for my kids, and although they weren’t there to cheer me on today, I ran my heart out for them.

Never in my life time did I ever think I would have ran past 6 miles, let alone a half marathon, with gods grace and a lot gut checks. I’m proud to say 1st Half marathon in the books!
