@GoingParabolic Do you get a credit if the values drop? I would have thought this tax will reduce property values significantly so that all owners will receive a substantial tax credit. There would also be material avoidance and complicance costs.

@MikeNewZ_ @chrisluxonmp Good point! Define “core” responsibilities - not sexy but important. It would be tempting to do the same for central government as well. Education/ infrastructure/ Health/ Justice (Courts & enforcement). Get some genuine focus on what matters.
