Akua Donkor was a well-known Ghanaian politician, founder of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), and was celebrated for her outspoken nature and unique political style.

1.From Farmer to Politician
Originally from Afigya Kwabre in the Ashanti Region, Donkor worked as a farmer and trader before entering politics. In 2012, she founded the GFP to support the rights of the poor and marginalized.

Despite numerous challenges, Donkor remained committed to her political goals and has run in multiple presidential elections.

3.Championing Women’s Rights
Her platform includes support for farmers, women, and youth. She plannned to provide women with accessible loans and assist women jailed due to loan debt by giving them a three-year repayment period.

4.Passionate About Agriculture
Donkor has been vocal about government support for agriculture and opposes harmful chemicals used in farming. She also aims to provide youth with farmland and startup capital.
