@rachelernst@AllieBeldin Thanks Rachel! We are planning to get some more episodes recorded next month- we had to pause because of all the at-home-with-small-kids-during-pandemic challenges but ready now to pick back up :)
@KookieB9 @MissVDeputy If they want their kids “kept busy” it’s likely because they are genuinely concerned about the impact all this is having, or because they need time to work themselves so that they can keep food on the table and roof over everyone’s heads. I think empathy is needed on both sides
@KookieB9 @MissVDeputy This strikes me as a bit unfair to suggest that parents who complain want to “not have to engage with their child”. As you might well know from personal experience, most of the parents are also having to work still and it’s naturally a huge challenge to do this with kids at home.

When it comes to evaluating a #classroommanagement strategy, perhaps the question shouldn't be "Does it work?", but rather "Does it pass moral scrutiny? Are we ok with how it works?" https://t.co/oOrboDofYI
"We really believe that the role of technology in education is to enhance how students learn. It's to make the conditions in the classroom as optimal as possible for learning."
