I finally made my first profits with trading! After getting funded for the 3rd time with FTMO. The profit was 0,50% of my 80k account. I am so happy! Even if the profit is not that much, and only traded 1 day out of the 14 days I could trade. Thank you! @I_Am_The_ICT
I started a new FTMO Challenge 80K EURO on 25 January. Passed phase 1. I will upload the videos later this week. Will trade phase 2 this week. NFP coming up so I wont trade on Wednesday/Friday, might look for a setup after Friday NFP news event.
Since last week I started taking my journaling to the next level. I haven't paid enough attention to it. I have to document everything from my studies, analyses, trading. I will do everything I can to become a consistently profitable trader.
Completely unnecessary how I failed last challenge, I overtraded too much. and I have not applied my risk management strategy. I have taken notes of the mistakes & uploaded the videos. I can now let it go and move on and learn from it.
failed FTMO challenge from December 22 to January 2. These recorded videos lasted a total of 14 hours. I have sped up the videos, the total duration of this video is now 22 minutes. https://t.co/SC8lq7GUww
Made the same mistakes again!π‘ I blew it. Had plenty opportunity the get out but got greedy. Will start a new one end of the month. Still need to upload videos. is so many but I will upload asap.
yesterday: I lost it. Analysis was on point. price did exactly what I was expecting. Timing was off. I came an hour late into the session so missed my setup. I had nice setups when I did got in, did not close. price retrace higher then my entry before going lower to my HTF target
Failed my rules yesterday: 1 trade each session, max 2 trades a day. I took 5 trades in 1 session. I lost -4,9%. first few trades gave me profit but I wanted more and gave it all back and more. I got emotionally after that. All recorded and will be posted, alot of videosπ€‘π
@GnezTrader Yes I agree. No one is stopping you, and holding you accountable for your trade action. its a different type of discipline you need for trading.
I've witnessed the potential in the markets, but success means nothing without trading discipline. It's baffling, I can handle a 40-hour week job despite emotions, yet struggle to follow my trading plan in my own business.π€‘π
Twitter fam, I owe you an explanation! Disappeared for a bit, dealing with the pressure, losses, and the emotional rollercoaster. But, I NEVER thought of quitting. Back to share the real story β lessons, setbacks, and why I vanished. Let's talk!
Status on 80K EURO:
I will post everything, win or lose. I have nothing to proof, just want to share the journey. I've been on a losing streak for months now. But have the feeling I am getting closer. If I just trust my analysis, stay disciplined. 2 trades max a day.
the analysis I did hours before I took the trade. Price did take out most of the target but I am trading after 10:00 NY time. So did not care price was taking out those levels before 10:00.

I started 80K Euro FTMO challenge last Friday. This is first the trade I took. I did analyze hours before and had a bias. I missed move the move but did not care. Eventually only got 13 handles 1.4RR. I sticked to my plan, and waited patiently.
repeating mistakes, yet never considering giving up. Trading remains my path forward, even after sacrificing a job with freedom. Now, managing two part-time jobs, earning less, and with limited free time. Armed with an IT degree, I don't want return to a 9-5, 5 days a week.
Post-April 2023, I never truly gave my trading plan a chance. Lost all accounts due to insufficient risk and trade management, succumbing to greed and fear. Chart analyses played out, but impatience and distrust in my bias led to repeated mistakes.
The key is to focus on my trading plan, avoid forcing trades, implement strict risk management, limit myself to 2 trades daily, and refrain from aiming for 1:10 on every trade. I believe this discipline will lead to profitability.
