I don’t know how this ends, friends. In truth, none of us do. You make the best of it, I guess.
We’re all living on borrowed time. The clock just runs a tick faster for some.
A friend asked me to define a “good life”. I have no idea, but I’ve figured out this much: love the people you have; embrace the moments that make you smile; try to serve others with grace and humility.
That’s the totality of life: good or bad, it’s yours.
This is my life now. Nuclear medicine, pills out the wazoo. Doctors. Nurses. Specialists. Every one of them trying to keep alive a body that clearly wants to shut down.
I’m so thankful for their efforts, but I’m not entirely sure I’m deserving of them.
I’ve been having these existential moments lately. Every time I’m given a “breakthrough” prescription, I think “to what end?” It may prolong life, but would you really call this living?
It makes me wonder, that’s all. Life is painful enough; must the ending be so goddamn brutal?
Today I met a man dying from pancreatic cancer. He’s 47, and was given 8 weeks to live. That was 7 months ago.
So now I can’t stop thinking about this man living on borrowed time. How do you go on knowing your body has been rejected by nature and Father Time?
Yeah I’m calling bullshit on this one.
I live near Mahoning Township. There’s nothing out there.
So you’re telling me the driver pulls over in the middle of nowhere to take a leak… and there just so happens to be a masked guy with a gun?? 💩💩

@disneymom1126 Don’t compete. Trying to lose weight by a deadline only guarantees you’ll put it back on.
Focus on lifestyle changes first, then add in exercise. And of course, consult your physician before undertaking any weight loss regimen.
