Everton will discuss a new improved contract for goalkeeper Jordan Pickford when the England Number 1 returns to the club next week. Pickford has been on an extended holiday following his heroics at this summer’s World Cup in Russia and is set to be offered a new deal.

I like that Everton have sent the ‘Looking Forward’ booklet out as a separate publication. I can’t recall a previous time that the club have engaged in such a manner with the fans and detailed their intentions. It’s a positive message and needs to be a regular occurrence. #EFC

I really hope there’s a plan behind the scenes. At first I wasn’t too bothered as our teams were full of youngsters and fringe players. But now we’ve got a team full of premier league experience and we’re looking no better.
