Tough game today in the WFA national cup over 65's away at Weston Super Mare. 1-1 at the end 3-2 to Eastleigh on penalties. Txs to WSM for hospitality and sandwiches after. Over 60's visit WSM Wednesday.

Eastleigh 65+ beat Clevedon today by 4-2. We took the lead through James Trant only for Clevedon to equalise with their 1st shot. Geoff Harrison restored our lead late in the first half.

Clevedon levelled 2nd half only for Trant and Harrison with a goal apiece sealing the win.

Eastleigh's over 70's won their first tournament of the year at Worthing on Monday 6th February.

Eastleigh over 65's retain WFA sponsored by Pharmacy2U. After beating Hemel Hempstead on penalties in the semi final Eastleigh did likewise in the final, beating Stamford 2-1 on penalties after a 0-0 draw. Champions again!

Today is the turn of our 65's, holders of the national cup. A winning start to the first two games, 1 nil victories over Eastwood and Kingsgate.

After a tight game Eastleigh lost in the semi final against Norwich, last year's winners, by the only goal.
Let's hope the over 65's can go one step better and reach (and win!) the final of their competition tomorrow.
