Mikkel Honoré crashed at Heylen Vastgoed Heistse Pijl and sustained multiple injuries, including a fractured clavicle, several broken ribs, and other non-surgical fractures. He remains under medical care and will undergo surgery on his clavicle in the coming days.

Michael Valgren and James Shaw will not start stage 19 of the Giro d’Italia.

Both riders have given a huge amount to the team over the past weeks and we are proud of the way they have raced. With several riders already sidelined through injury this season, and with Michael and James both essential to our goals this summer, we have made the decision to prioritize their health, recovery, and preparation for the important block of racing ahead.

We have enormous respect for the Giro and will keep fighting all the way to Rome.

Samuele Battistella abandoned stage 5 of the Giro d’Italia. Samuele pushed on after his stage 2 crash to try to help his teammates at his home grand tour, but the abrasions and haemotoma from his fall proved too much. He will now travel home to rest and recover. Heal up, Samu 💕

Harry Sweeny will step back from racing following surgery to treat an inflamed plica in his left knee.

Richard Carapaz will miss the 2026 Giro d’Italia as he continues his recovery from surgery to remove a perineal cyst and shifts his focus to the Tour de France.

Richie is back on the bike, fully committed to the work ahead, and determined to return in his best shape for July.
