On Eid al-Adha, we send our warmest wishes to the Muslim community in Israel and our friends across the world.
This holiday reminds us of the values of faith, family, and giving back.
The Muslim community is an essential, vibrant part of Israeli society, enriching our shared cultural fabric every single day.
MABROOK!
Meet @GeorgeDeek, Israel’s new Special Envoy for the Christian World.
George, a former ambassador to Azerbaijan, is one of Israel’s most outstanding Christian Arab citizens. He will do a fantastic job leading Israel’s outreach to the Christian world.
I am honoured to be on @TheTimes#YoungPowerList2026, recognising the 30 most inspiring under 30s in the UK.
What started as a lockdown project on social media has grown into something I could never have imagined.
Everyone has a story. Tell yours and listen to others.
Happy Easter to everyone celebrating in Israel and around the world!
Israel is proud to be home to a vibrant, flourishing Christian community and the sacred city of Nazareth: the childhood home of Jesus.
As we reflect on the Easter story, we are reminded that even in the most difficult times, light prevails and strength is born from darkness.
May this season bring renewed hope, peace, and resilience to all.
This Good Friday, we are deeply moved by the many Christian friends who stood by the Jewish community in praying against antisemitism during these challenging times.
On behalf of the State of Israel and the Embassy of Israel, thank you for your unwavering solidarity and courage.
Together, we pray for a brighter future for all.
June 2025:
• Soroka Hospital in Be’er Sheva
• The Weizmann Institute, where groundbreaking science is developed
• Residential buildings in Be’er Sheva and Holon
Civilian sites. Dozens of civilian casualties. Ballistic missiles fired with the intent to kill.
That was June 2025.
The same is happening again in March 2026. The same Iranian regime firing indiscriminately at civilian targets.
To claim that there was proportionate ballistic missile fire on military sites in June 2025 is not based in reality.
It's important to put the record straight.
Nine civilians were killed this morning following a direct Iranian missile strike on the city of Beit Shemesh, near Jerusalem.
Home Front Command personnel are deployed across multiple impact sites and are conducting extensive search and rescue operations.
They are working alongside Israel’s national emergency medical teams to treat the wounded and ensure the safety of residents.
Our thoughts are with the families of those killed and injured.
I went down to Morrisons and bought delicious Israeli dates. All the big supermarkets will have something you can buy. Avocados, dates, Sabra hummus in the fridges, Tivali in the frozen, Osem stock in the dried or kosher.
Go buy Israeli and bring the love 💙
Over the last week people in Brighton have been trying to encourage people to boycott all Israeli goods- we must show them this is unacceptable. Visit your local supermarket today to buy Israeli goods and show your support to our friends in Brighton.

Following Israel’s recognition of the state of Somaliland, the chargé d'affaires of the Embassy @DanielaGrudsky and political counselor @YossiZilberman were delighted to host His Excellency Ambassador Said Hassan Bihi and his delegation at our embassy for a warm and constructive discussion on strengthening our ties and expanding our partnership.
Today was our last vigil in Brighton for the hostages. The 100th one. This community has shown incredible strength given the hate in our city. To keep showing up, to risk, to humanise. Them and us. We cut the ribbons down but our bonds will never be broken.
For 119 weeks, every week since October 7th, the Jewish community and allies in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, have held a vigil in support of the State of Israel and for the return of the hostages. Today was the final vigil, following the return of Ran Gvili’s body from Gaza.
Just as Ran was the first in and the last out in Gaza, the community of Borehamwood continued to stand in resilience and advocacy until the very end. We thank you for your enduring voice and brave friendship throughout all 119 weeks.

Our hearts are shattered.
Emerging from the holy fast of Yom Kippur, British Jews are now grasping the full extent of today’s terror attack at the Heaton Park Synagogue in Manchester.
This is the day we hoped we would never see, but which deep down, we knew would come.
For so long we have witnessed an unrelenting wave of Jew hatred on our streets, on campuses, on social media and elsewhere – this is the tragic result.
This not only an assault on the Jewish community, but an attack on the very foundations of humanity and the values of compassion, dignity and respect which we all share.
I have spoken this evening to Rabbi Daniel Walker, the spiritual leader of the Heaton Park Synagogue. His courageous leadership, together with the resilience of his congregation, are an inspiration to us all.
May the victims’ memories be for a blessing and may the injured be granted a swift recovery.
I pray that this tragedy strengthens our collective resolve to confront antisemitism, in all its guises, once and for all.
The Embassy of Israel in the United Kingdom condems the attack carried out today on Yom Kippur at the Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation Synagogue in Manchester.
That such an act of violence should be perpetrated on the holiest day of the Jewish calendar, in a place of prayer and community, is abhorrent and deeply distressing.
The Embassy is in close contact with Manchester Jewish community, British authorities and the Community Security Trust (CST) to monitor developments and ensure that the necessary support is provided.
We thank the Greater Manchester Police for their swift response. The safety and security of Jewish communities in the United Kingdom must be guaranteed.
The thoughts and prayers of the people of Israel are with the victims, their families, and the entire Jewish community at this difficult time.
"This attack is a culmination of something the Jewish community have been fearing for two years".
